:$....It's early....I got nothing else.Grass. As in get off my lawn.
Way to soon to jog man. Actually might not want to ever jog again. Jogging is tough on them. Don't piss around with your knees. I hurt my knee just by moving it wrong while getting up from the chair. It took an entire year to totally heal. I was scared crapless I'd never walk right again. That is a horrible feeling of desperation when it actually hits the point where you think you might not be walking normal again. Once it goes for good you could be really screwed. Jogging bothers mine now and I can feel it starting to break down. I'm never snowboarding, jogging, or any of that stuff again.
Do some walking or very light riding. Perhaps try a different type of bike with a different seat position.
A bit of advice from someone whose knee problems in the past required fairly extensive PT: strengthening your quads, hamstrings, and calves will do more for preventing further knee problems than anything else you may try. The knee is a joint that relies heavily on the supporting muscles and ligaments, and without that support, it injures easily. Educate yourself first, then find ways to strengthen without strain.
What I wouldn't give to go back 10 years and tell myself to stop runningI'm careful not to damage stuff in my body that can't heal. Ligaments and joints are one of those things. I'm surprised sometimes how beat up all my friends are already in their 20's.
I don't sit on my ass 24/7 but I don't do stupid shit either.
