clinton disgraced america. he wasn't able to get anything of significance done, especially regarding social injustice and corporate greed. the first thing he did was alienate the entire congress and senate with his crusade on allowing homosexuals into the military. he failed miserably, and made a lot of enemies in the process. if he wasn't such a half wit he would have waited and not brought such a devisive issue to the forefront until he had first established the health care initiative, which would have endeared him to everyone and then he might have had success in establishing the rights of homosexuals. instead, he failed at both. the only reason he was reelected was because the republicans had a clown for a candidate.

monica lewinsky proved how intelligent clinton is.

... And this is Clinton's fault that outsourcing happened during this time? That was a business trend that government really had no control over it. Even if Clinton did support outsourcing and bringing in Indiant immigrants do you REALLY think a major corporation would be influenced by this? Your arguement is as false as saying that Bush ruined our economy, government plays little hand on our economy outside their laws set for it.

Furthermore, what was so bad about Clinton fighting for gays in the military? Sure it divided congress but why should he have a mass appeal when something of injustice is going on? Are you saying in the same way that emancipation or black rights were bad simply because it divided the congress? When you fight for gays in the military you are not just fighting for that single act but rather starting a trend for all rights acts to follow. It was the same exact thing as the Dred Scott decision. It wasn't just about his own rights but what will ultimately come after the issue receives national attention.

as far as the gay issue, my statement "clinton disgraced america. he wasn't able to get anything of significance done, especially regarding social injustice and corporate greed." was a direct remark about the gays. the term i used was "social injustice." maybe you should find out what that means. my arguement is that clinton took on so much immediately after taking office that he choked on it. if he would have begun with the health care issue (which gay people would also have benefited from) and waited until he had won that issue before dealing with the issue of gays in the military, he might have had a chance. instead, the bonehead tried to put through 2 huge issues at the same time, before establishing himself with the senate and congress, and lost both of them.
