So why go with the 590? Only part that confused me, and I thought I might as well see what the reasoning was for it. If you go with gaming, then I would say you are fine or could have went 2x570s and had less heat and better performance.

Sorry just a minor nitpick from another member. Otherwise, the more I look at these LD cases, the more I want one going next to my CaseLabs. The red is so nice, and the orange I have seen looks amazing as well. How is the support from the builder of the case? Any minor problems that you can tell with the build (besides more space than you can fill right now )?

Well, I chose the GTX 590 because:
(1) This was going to be my showcase build.
(2) I wanted to use evga components as much as I could in this build.
(3) I only wanted to use one GPU because it is much cleaner than using 2-4 gpu's.

I'm glad you have the means to build systems like this: A few years ago I sold my Buick Skylark to a man who put it into a windowed garage so passers by could gawk at it. I had seriously rebuilt this car from the ground up, with a Pontiac 455 and a twin-screw whipplecharger.

I sold one of the fastest cars in Northern California to a guy who didn't deserve it. With guys at AT who are rocking Pentium-4s, don't knock what you have here.

Not my main rig anyway, so more GPU does not really matter.

Works fine with me.:thumbsup: To each their own as I say. Still a sexy rig if you want to turn off the folding to play a game on it. Although with that kind of folding rig, I wonder what your gaming rig is :sneaky::sneaky:

I am going to wait until BD comes out to see what the difference is in points. Would be nice to have a mini-supercomputer running the bigbetas.:awe:

I might wait. But if [H] stays on our tail (I fold for evga) I may have to start a G34 farm... :\

As do I (different name), but I cannot justify the quad prices right now, although I just built my SR-2 (air-cooling in 90F temps. vs. waiting a few more weeks for Nateman to finish my blocks).

If you start a farm, you might need to get a nuclear power plant outside to give them juice :sneaky:. Watch out for the authorities too as they may think you are trying to grow something instead of fold.:sneaky::sneaky:

Epic build of proportions if this rig was mine i would dub it the destroyer cause thats all it will do with what you throw at it nice build love the theme

LSI Mega raid 9265-8i and 6 c300 64GB SSD's in raid zero.

No spindle drive.
