no, you aren't hurting everyone around you. Second hand smoke is NOT proven to affect the health of others. It is also not disproven. Also, that doesn't explain the first part of my post. I don't smoke around others, I don't smoke in restaurants, I respect others dislike of it. But why does that make me a bad person?

Because the EPA study that everyone cites was based on flawed logic, inaccurate information, and had a pre-conceived result. They cherry-picked data and passed it off as a valid scientific study. Same with the WHO report. Now, I'm not saying I'm for smokers breathing smoke on someone, but smog caused by automobiles/coal plants/diesels cause much more caustic damage to the lungs and have much higher incidents of cancer. Currently the risk of harm secondhand smoke listed in the EPA report was 1:80,000. I'm not even going to get into how they said it would have been a 25% increase(which was a stupid way to attempt to scare people) or how they said anyone that lived with someone who smoked, or was around someone who smoked would be considered a smoking fatality. Don't forget a Federal Judge threw the whole case out to begin with. If you want proof of what I'm saying just search google or watch Penn & Teller.
