Yeah, we have room to talk. There have been plenty of times (TRUST ME!!) that my mom has gotten on my very last nerve by not understanding something or being irritating. However, I would never ever call her the "dumbest person alive". Ever.

as for your other questions/comments

1 & 6) I have no desire to teach, the overall pay is crap (but the hours are sweet for gradeschool and high school).

2) I'm actually not that great at math (I can't hold a simple string of numbers in my head, they get mixed up), and I suck at grammer (could never remember all the rules).

I'm pretty good at logic (which is why my writing is fairly well laid out for something done on the spot) and I love business theory.

Believe it or not, I have decent interpersonal skills. I'm not that great of a conversationalist, but I can carry my end of the conversation if you give me enough to work with and people IRL seem to like me or be indifferent.

3) I never said the world was hopeless (some people are and I try ot ignore them). I also want to see how this being alive thing plays out.

4) Yes people deserve chances, but I also have the right to say when I have had enough.

5) I plan on having 2 children someday, but we can not predict the future.

We all have weaknesses... I am very forgetful and don't have a sense for fashion and such... but I still try hard to remember the promises I made to my kids or not wear something my wife would be ashamed of... Chances are (and should be) given in abundance. I may be "smart" or "intelligent" but I never think that that makes me a better person than the other...

I've tutored for all my life. In the past 15 years, I've tutored all range of ages... from elelmentary to college. I tutor mainly in math and science... when they don't understand, I just try approaching from a different angle. Never do I tell them that "you are a dumb p.o.s.! Just give it up!" or anything similar... No one deserves that... esp. if they want to learn. Back when I was learning additions and subtractions of negative numbers (I was about 12), my mom got mad at me several times because I just didn't get it. After several tries (and yelling), I got it. She was frustrated at me and at the situation but she never called me a name or something degrading.

I don't scream at the people I tutor like my mom... but I still believe in giving the person as many chances as you can. Sure some people aren't just meant to be, say, a doctor or a teacher, but you could always tell them the message better... in a constructive manner.

Seriously, it's everyone's right to complain about their mother's...none of you know what he is going through/etc. If a mom is calling their kid stupid, chances are there are a lot of other problems.

Most have no choice but to carry a baby they made as well as many decide to do so with ulterior motives in mind.

I have a very good friend that is a social worker. The stories she tells me are pathetic. She once showed up at a woman's place about to lose her child to find a note on the door that read basically 'the door is open, went out to get 'cigs' can you watch her for a while?'

They had a 2 hour appointment, the lady showed back up right about two hours late, but my friend had already called for backup (government intervention)...she tried to call the ho's cell phone but "I didn't answer 'cause you'd be telling me to come home....you not my mother" (again this is a paraphrase but that was about it).

Then the idiot went on to help her case more by saying she can do what she wants to her baby...she really f'ed up on that deal.

Yet I am sure all you idiots would be stepping up saying "BUT IT"S STILL THEIR MOTHER > *"

As far as banning someone over such a belief, you stick your head in the ground when danger comes? How about not reading it? It's ok not to agree. I say ban anyone that can't deal with that.
