Hey guys,
I'm coming here because I have a difficulty talking about this subject with the people around me. Today, I'm going to tell my girlfriend that over the last few months I've lost over $6,000 dollars playing poker.
have you ever watched Ocean's Eleven ? just curious because it's about casino's, card players, rigged games, etc.
maybe you can teach actors how to
lose, like Brad Pitt did in Ocean's Eleven.
fixed
the game that George Clooney played in was a rigged game, and "Rusty" (the Brad Pitt character) did neglect to tell his actor student clients that they were being conned. true.
BUT - he did teach them how to play poker. considering that he started with students who thought 5 red cards was a good hand.
but as far as our AT colleague with the gambling situation, i would say it's a different kind of addiction than a drug addiction. if it was drug addiction, i'd say "sweat that sh*t out of your system."
but since it's gambling, i would say that possibly the problem is 2-fold -
* RbSX is losing, instead of winning. this can be remedied.
* RbSX is betting bets that are too big, given that he is losing.
what's that country western song about knowing when to hold 'em & when to fold 'em ? i guess that's Kenny Rogers.
