My NAME is SHANIQUA TIQUANA!

My daughter was ending her first week as a freshman in highschool today when she moved past a group of ghetto black girls who were blocking the way. She politely said "Excuse me" as she moved by. However, the leader of the pack decided to give her a hard time. My daughter does not know how to back down, and so she stood firm by her right to pass through the hallways.

Now, you need to know that my daughter is highly intelligent. She struggled with autistic type behaviors when she was younger but she is a gifted pianist, writer, and also excels in science and math. She is not a Barbie Doll but doesn't seem to want to look like everyone else. She dresses like a homeless person on purpose. She's a bit of Daria and Gilda Radner rolled into one. She is very unique and her teachers love her for it... she's a pain in the ass at home but I am very proud of her. Anyway.

Within a few moments, my daughter and her very petite and frightened friend were surrounded by ghetto chicks. "FIGHT... FIGHT... FIGHT!" was starting to be chanted.

"What's your name?" asked the big black chick.

"My NAME is Shaniqua Tiquana!" is what my very special child answered.

There was an extended silence. My daughter thought to herself, Oh my God, what did I just say???? (She says that in her mind, she heard "My Name is Inigo Montoya! You Killed my father... prepare to die!)

The black girls started cracking up and let her go on her way.

yep, those black people have funny names. My wife is a teacher and the names of some her students are crazy, its like they must have a book of african names that they must go thru and try to pick the most unique names.

Well, the ironic thing is that I've always called her Tiquanisha. I'm fully Cuban/Spanish, which is essentially a mix of African, White, and Chinese. And my daughter has always just seemed to have some of the more African traits that come from my side of the family. Her dad's side is as white as can be.

She doesn't understand race because she's so many.

its not complicated. its just not funny either. but good for her standing up to them. wich is what you have to do to bullies

For some reason I'm picturing your daughter to look a little like:

1) Basura
2) Video interview where Basura is in normal clothes

The above is from the stupid show "Who wants to be a Superhero?" which is so stupid but I've been watching it anyways. Basura has a hot looking costume and when she was ejected from the show they showed her in her normal civilian clothes and I was surprised by how she normally dresses. She wore clothes like a bohemian gypsy and I was expecting something different based on her super-hero costume. Unfortunately, I can't find any screen shots with those clothes she wore on that episode but the video gives a hint of the type of clothes she normally wears.
