it's actually been 3 weeks yesterday since I got my car and I am totally 100% in love. I can't imagine going back to my old car which I loved! There are a few things I prefer on my old car than on my new one but overall I am completely satisfied

What's that got to do with it? I special ordered (saddle brown wasn't orderable in the US yet). They had X5s on the lot too.

I have done a lot of dealer purchases, and never have I gotten any more than the paperwork for the purchase, the proof of insurance that my agent faxed over, and a temp tag.

^ a lot of people actually have to have their cars built at the factory. Are you telling me that if you had done that, you would've gotten a real plate? I mean, when you order from the lot, it is never the same day you take it home. Getting your plates ready is a matter of a couple days that any dealer can do if they wanted to. Are you sure this isn't just a different state, different operating procedures thing like we had already guessed?

Slick ride! Congrats! I drive a 5-speed 3-Series everyday in that same L.A. traffic with little issue, but I can definitely see why the vast majority opt for some form of auto in even the sportiest cars.

BTW, any girl and related ex-boyfriend drama these days?

HAHAHAHA LordUnum!!! No... and Yes... No with the 2 girls from last year, both are out of my life and all is well. However I recently made friends with a girl who has an ex BF that I happen to know. I am not friends with the ex bf but he took it upon himself to come tell me i can't date the girl and pretty much threatened me if I do. Funny thing is I am not even interested in the girl lol
