It's possible to bend a pin back into place..but we're talking about the CPU core here. If it was something else i'd say go for it and try but I mean..something as sensitive and critical as the CPU - hard to say if there's hidden damage from whatever happened. Yer much better off getting a replacement rather then taking the chances of having a CPU that possibly might perform less, or be just a fraction weaker then it normally would - which would be *just* enough to have a critical meltdown in a situation where a healthy cpu woulda' said 'Naw naw, it's all good.'
*Shrugs* I'm feeling silly tonight.
