This thread reminds me of when I had my condo for rent and this guys rolls up in a new Lexus SC430(costs the same as my condo) and I just shook my head, I show him the property and he says something about the rent being a bit high and I just had to laugh.

Dethman, I would hope that you paid cash for that ride and that you have more invested in things that appreciate than depreciate.

im sorry but youre an idiot. the fact the other guy drove an sc430 doesn't preclude the fact that the rent you were offering on your place was proper.

further, getting good financing on a car is better than paying cash (i.e. 0% financing for x years)
