Just built this. Wanted to thank all you who helped me with decisions and understanding a couple things as I hadn't built since 2006.
Initially, I was going to build something more powerful, but work availability/money kept my budget a bit tight, so I worked with it as best I could and I'm still pretty happy with what I've got. I have the front intake fan on high, the rear is stock and I think 1200 RPM... the side fan isn't hooked up to power yet, and even with the 5770 at maybe 40-50% load overall the system is quiet (not silent).
I did have one problem... installing Windows 7 with both 2 GB modules in, the install would BSOD. I took out one stick and it installed. Later I read in the mobo manual that if I was to use a pair at 1600 then I had to install them in the white slots for some reason. They were both in the blue before/during install. /shrug

The HDD (SATAII 320 GB Seagate 7200 RPM) and DVD-RW are from my old build. I'll be upgrading to a 5850 later down the road. I basically sold my system to someone who needed one, and used a week's paycheck to pay for this. I haven't caught up with many recent/semi-recent games in awhile cause previously I was on a 1.8 GHz Athlon 64/2 GB/Win XP 32-bit/7900 GS 256 MB that died then 6200 LE 128 MB which really limited my gaming... the last decent game I played graphically was Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2. Now I can catch up and I can't wait for Splinter Cell Conviction among others.
Temps are running quite fine (CPU around 33 idle, haven't checked under load), GPU about 45-50 idle, around 60 load in Wolfenstein demo... we'll see how in Crysis demo (I don't really intend to play that game esp. on a 5770 anyway...).
