My new build

I'm looking to get a new build going soon. I've been using PCPartPicker to kind of help but thought it would be useful to ask here and get some feedback on it. The main use for this computer will be programming/web development. I'd like to be able to play some games as well, but it won't be a dedicated gaming system. I would like to keep the build under $2,000 (USD) if possible and I will need everything, including monitor and Windows 10. I don't have any preference on brands, just want a product that is well built and will last. I have no intentions of doing any overclocking either. Hoping to be able to build within the next month or two.

Here is a link to the PCPartPicker list of what I have. None of it is set in stone, but wanted to get sort of a "baseline" and go from there. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/y49sRJ

Appreciate any and all feedback! Looking forward to getting information and learning.

The GPU has 0db fan mode which is handy when doing work. If you have access to another PC you can buy a Windows key for a lot less, and install from a USB stick.

I've never heard of ASRock motherboards. Are they a pretty reputable brand? Appreciate the other recommendations you made. I'll look up some reviews on those as well.

It's a nice motherboard I think. It is what I would buy if I was upgrading to Ryzen 3. I wish it was on sale in the UK, it's £303 here.

Appreciate the input. I've made some changes to the list. Of course still open to more input and suggestions. Now I did ask for input on Facebook as well, and had someone suggest the AMD Threadripper. Any input on those?

The new threadrippers haven't come out yet, the 3900X is going to be better than the currently available threadrippers. If you are using the system for development the 3900X is kind of overkill already. I can run visual studio fine with a 4c/4t 3570k.

I was thinking it might be overkill, but because I'm not sure how much gaming I'm actually going to do on it, I wanted to make sure it could handle it.
