WTF, the D600 I got last September had a 2MP camera, why are they going backwards?

I'm about to get the t809 as well... the t-mobile store told me that they will match any (reasonable) online deal.
Wirefly currently has a deal for two free t809's with a family plan. If the t-mobile store comes anywhere near
matching that I'll be happy. Amazon also has a deal for one free t809 which would be fine also and would definately
be matched.

My friend has the s710.. its nice but the screen isnt anywhere near as good as the samsung. I like the flash and swivel
design but the 809's screen just blew me away in the store. Hopefully I'll like the slider design.. swivel and flip seem
so much more practical..

Hey guys, I finally did get the T-809 (FAR) from Amazon about a month ago. This is my first slider phone and wasn't sure if I would enjoy how it's used or not. Well.. I LOVED the concept and easily got use to sliding it up and down, don't know why I stuck with flip phones for so long. The T-809 itself, however, had too many restrictions on the flashy things for how I wanted to use it (can't use unsigned Java apps, couldn't use Opera Mini, can't customize the D-pad buttons, could only visit certain WAP sites). The phone itself was fine though: clear, good reception, awesome screen, nice camera that hides the lens while closed.. so while it couldn't do the cool advanced stuff, it functioned as a phone quite well. So as I investigated the phone at Howard's, people started reporting that flashing to the D820 firmware let them do ANYTHING with the phone, meaning the restrictions were lifted on that model (the D820 and T809 are basically the same exact phones). So I decided to flash it and now the phone is better than ever and still works flawlessly! So those of you who have this phone and want to get more out of it, look into flashing over to the D820. Be wary though and go through it step-by-step if you choose to, HERE is the running thread at Howard's with peoples reactions and more information on the technicalities of flashing.

I can also view word, excel, pdf, frontpage files ..

It has a flash for the camera and it also has a flashlight just in case the power goes out..

oh yeah it also has AIM, Yahoo, MSN messenger installed

When I want to record my girlfriend doing the good deeds I just switch it to video record mode
