"Kahr makes great little pistols, all steel and easy to conceal. Mine is not much of a range gun, barrel too small. I got it cuz it's a great carry gun. You want a range gun get a .22 target pistol, very accurate and cheap to shoot."

I'm not a fan of "little" pistols The gun will be for protection kept in the house (to be specific, the safe in my bedroom), not as a carrying arm. The .22 won't really stop anyone trying to rob the house, other than a squirrel or a mouse. Where I live, it takes about 45 minutes for the cops (staties) to get here. Yea, there's a sheriff and his goons in town (10 miles away), but they run the other way when there's trouble. I have a funny story about our great Milford PD, if you'd like to hear about it let me know.

You want home protection, get a shotgun. Real cheap.

You're in PA, I have to go to the Pike County Sheriff's Dept. to get my non-resident PA license. I'll be making that trip very soon, . Then, I'll be able to legally carry concealed in your State.

BTW, let's hear your story.

Where in NY are you from? Port? Middletown? Pike County Sheriff's Dept is in Milford, my little town. Small world huh?

As far as the story. Well one day an African American man decides to rob a bank in Milford (about 1/2 mile from the Sheriff's Dept). He walks in there, tells the clerk to put all the money he has into a paper bag. The clerk hits the alarm as the robber is walking out. The Sheriff's Department receives a call (along with the alarm), telling them that an armed black man has just robbed the bank. The Sheriff's Dep calls the State Police and sits back not going after him, he's armed after all. By the time the Staties get here, the robber is gone. Now the funny part is, witnesses saw him walking away from the bank ON FOOT. Now you might ask, so what do the Milford's finnest actually do? They're too busy giving out tickets to kids who are skateboarding in public areas.

I believe it fires 7.62, but I am not sure. It seems like the cyclic rate on this baby is 6000+ rounds a minute, so your 10K would barely pay for the ammo. I think they wanted a $100,000 for it anyway.....

I have about $10,472 in the bank saved up for that.

You're about halfway there on just the gun alone.

BAR, upwards of $20k. Same for the M2.

M2 for $17,500

.50 cal rounds are just over a buck each. .30 cal are about a quarter

I know you aren't being serious, but most folks have no idea how expensive, and how much paperwork is required to buy such "evil" guns.

Typical cop sh!t, I'm surprised you didn't say they were at the local Dunkin Donut shop. I'm 45 minutes from Milford; you're right about my age...I don't remember my 21st b'day, .

Pretty sweet, closest I have to anything like that is my Ruger Mini-14. Always nice to have a new addition to the family eh I"ve got 17 all told, 10 pistols better put me up there with our pal Bin Laden :|

.22 cal for the most part, here's a list for anyone interested:

Stoeger Pro Series 95 target stainless .22 auto
2x Ruger 10/22 stainless (hogue overmold stocks & preban 30 and 50rnd mags)
Mossberg Model 59? .22 bolt
Ruger Super Single Six convertible (Bi-centennial) .22 & .22WMR rev
H&R Sportsman .22 break action revolver 9rnd (1930's vintage)
AMT AutoMag II stainless .22WMR auto
Phoenix Arms HP-22 stainless .22 auto
Ruger Mini-14 stainless (10,20,30 and 2x 40rnd mags) .223Rem (5.56 NATO)
Remington Model 788 .22-250 bolt (4-24x50mm scope)
Ruger P-90 stainless .45ACP auto
Ruger Super Redhawk stainless .44Mag rev
High Standard Sentinel MkII .357Mag rev
Coonan Arms Standard Model stainless .357Mag auto

Savage single shot 20ga
H&R single shot 10ga
Marlin .410 bolt

That's it, as a machinist/toolmaker I can appreciate the fine workmanship that goes into a fine weapon, and I do like to go out to the range a let off a few rounds. I'm not evil or a psycho, but I"m sure someone will try to make that association. To anyone that wants to do so

Looks awesome, when I am old enough I am sure I will have a nice little gun collection of my own. Have fun, but be responsible.

Sweet.. sweet.. sweet. I think that'd be a little overkill for me though. I just want a nice black handgun to take to the range.

OTOH, you could build a semi 1919A4 for not a lot of money. Obviously not very practical, but very doable.

She's a beaut. Take good care of it.

All I have is a Glock 31, but that's all I plan on getting here in California.
