It's been a while for me. Been using a Dell Laptop for the last year. While it served me very well I had to have a PC again. Check it out

Don't even start with the whole AMD/Intel thing...

I would agree with most everyone on here that the Athlon XP is definitely the better processor for your money but I have my reasons for going with Intel, and I'm happy with it.

What are the specifications for OCing the CPU??? Voltage? PCI? AGP? RAM? FSB?

1.55 Vcore (Although I'm not entirely sure the extra .5 is necessary yet)
FSB: 110
AGP: Dunno, whatever is default.
RAM: Stock. Haven't tried anything more agressive yet.

Only had it running for 24 hours, so I'm still breaking it in so to speak.

I can't agree more! It looks VERY nice; however, you really need to paint those drives. It is one of my biggest pet peeve. People do all these crazy mods on their PCs yet they always have some black case with beige drives. It is not hard and it makes everything look sooooo much better.

If I had a digi cam, I'd post picks of my machines.

$1850 I'd say... Haven't added it all up to the last cent though. (shipping etc) I kind went nuts on the Case and Power Supply. I have some more round cables coming too, but I don't know if I really need them, I was able to fold those bulky ass ribbon cables pretty nicely.

IMHO that would look horrible, painting it to try and match Al.

Pretty tight system, man!

And gdawson, I have a new slot-load Pioneer DVD-ROM and it runs very fast. You are probably referring to the old Pioneer slot-load CD-ROMs... I had a 32X one a while back. Yes it was loud and the seek time was slow. But new drives have been coming out.
