My New System

After about two month of searching different sites, I finally take a decision to buy this system. Please if any part is not good tell me. Any comment appreciated.

Memory: Patriot 2 GB, 667
VGA: XFX 7600 GT
HDD: Hitachi 250 GB
DVD Writer: Liteon

PSU, I would get a good aftermarket cooler and over clock the E6400, you should look into the 8800s if you can afford it, patriot is a good choice for ram, Asus always makes a good motherboard, also the gigabyte DS3 is a good one as well,

Way overkill. The 7600GT uses like 36W of power. The 750W Silencer is designed for 8800GTX SLI - and those cards can pull ~180W EACH.

Why get a $220 PSU for a a GPU that retails these days for around $110 AR?

Evga says:
Minimum of a 350 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 18 Amp Amps.)
Minimum 400 Watt for SLI mode system.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 24 Amp Amps.)

OP, what are your upgrade plans? Will you be putting in a new, more powerful GPU in the near-distant future or will this pretty much be it for the next year or so? If it's the former, a quality 500W unit from Enermax/Silverstone/Seasonic/Enhance etc. will be sufficient. If not, you can use pretty much any 400W+ PSU. Just stick to good brands with good ratings/reviews.

The Cooler Master Centurions are nice, cost-effective cases for ~$50.

If you're overclocking, E6300 overclocks better and have a better price/performance ratio as well.
E6300 or the E6600 is good.

oh I did not look at his Video card, yeah the silencer is over kill a good PSU then would be the Enermax Liberty 500w, the E6300 and E6400 are good over clockers, the 6600 is not worth the money

As you can see from my sig I like the Seasonic S430 and Lian Li 7B.

I'm not sure about that RAM either but I'm not an expert on all the various memory out there.

I choose a 380 W real for my PSU. I don't want buy aftermarket cooler because I don't want extreme overclocking, just 330*8=2640 is enough for me. can I reach this core speed with stock cooling? I want use my new pc for about 5 years!!!! I'm not a rich man to buy new system every year.
I also choose E6400 instead of E6300 because I think if you add $40 to buy E6400 instead of E6300 its better than buy E6300 and aftermarket cooler. If I'm not right please help me.

yes the E6400 is the better chip, and with the PSU just make sure the rails can handle it, I might suggest buying a Seagate Barracuda they are really good and if I am correct would cost you less than the a hitachi, the core 2 duos are a good choice for lasting a while, plus most core 2 duo motherboards can handle quad core processors as well if you were ever to go to the next step, the artic 7 pro is not extreme is relatively in expensive only about 27 dollars, I am not sure if using the stock cooling is good for overclocking
