So after getting a promotion to start the year and moving back to the city of Chicago after spending a year in central Illinois I decided to treat myself to a new vehicle. I had a decently modified 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8GT 6MT in Silverstone with a full exhaust, intake, custom tune, lowered 1.5" on all 4 corners, and flush wheels for a great stance (not tucked and obnoxious, just no wheel gap and spaced in line with the body) but the consequence was not being able to drive it in my new neighborhood because of crappy roads and massive speed bumps everywhere. I have an Acura Legend as a winter beater so the Genesis sat at my parents house. Had 96k~ miles on it and was getting the itch for something different anyway.
Tossed around a couple ideas from a Focus RS, WRX/STi, E92/90 M3, or wait for a new M2 among others. Over the last month I really started to lean towards something with AWD and four doors so I could downsize to one vehicle and drive it year round. I've always been a huge BMW fan but the F30 3 series just doesn't do it for me and didn't like the interior in the F30 335ix, even with M Sport. then I came across a solid deal on a certified 2013 B8.5 Audi S4. Went for a test drive one day after work and a few hours later I drove it off the lot smiling from ear to ear!
Brilliant Black on black leather/grey alcantara, 7 speed S-Tronic, Technology Pakage, Sport Diff, on 18's. Car had a Deval carbon fiber diffuser and a cat-back exhaust already on it (not sure of the brand yet). Apologize for the crappy phone pics, haven't had a chance to give it a good detail yet.
tl;dr Traded in my 2010 Genesis Coupe 3.8GT 6MT for CPO 2013 Audi S4.
