My new varmint rifle

So, my dealer sent out his FFL yesterday so i can order my Bushmaster. Until then, I need a hold me over. Had to use what I had around the house, but I really think she's gonna be a hell of a shooter. Especially if I use some of that match grade Wolf ammo.
So, what do you guys think?

Does the duct tape help with the balance, or what?

Good luck with the Bushmaster. I'd really like to get my hands on an AR variant. The only problem is that I have no place to shoot around here. I'd have to drive 40 or 50 miles each way. It makes it difficult to do more than just on weekends.

SKS? I can't say I have ever used an SKS as a varment rifle... but they ARE cheap and fun to shoot. I have one with a folding stock (one of the cheap synthetic stocks from gun shows).

With that mounting you'd have better luck bashing at those varmints with the rifle butt.

Poor SKS gets no respect.

Varmint 3 (view behind the scope of the rifle thru the chair and aimed at the fridge) is absolutely BEGGING for a caption / photochop...

lol. Yeah, it was done in jest obviously.

I did the stock mod in high school when I was too broke to afford a AK-47.
Kinda regret it now, wish it was stock. Oh well, gives me reason to get a few more.

If you don't reload your ammo, try out some Black Hills ammo. It generally shoots really well.
