I know my car is geared higher than a GTO and has wider tires with more power and I wish it was closer to 3.43. Even with drag radials in 315, the car is severely traction limited in 1st and 2nd.

Why is it more enjoyable with a taller gear??

Because you don't roast the tires instantly in every gear, you can take advantage of the increased torque, and you can build and hold boost better and longer.

Doesn't matter. I can spin a set of MT ET Streets in 315 in 1st and 2nd. Just means that you have to be more mindful on how you launch.

I didnt realize his was a turbo car....I know how well a lower gear ratio works for FI cars.
