I won't be going to a dealer for anything I don't have to. Only thing I'd go for is software updates for the computers. Most everything else can actually be done by yourself. (With the right software)

Well, so far I've driven the car about 150 miles. Annoying as fuck on a slow wet drive with the top up. Exhaust drone is real. Also, gas mileage? I'm maybe getting 15-16mpg. I'm throwing down the gauntlet here and there but how is it possible to even get 20mpg in this thing?

That said, top down... It's great. Admittedly, it's been raining and relatively cold here in the bay... so, not perfect weather but it's actually decent even when it's got a light misting going. (air current keeps the rain out)

Definitely need driving gloves though to keep my hands warm. Sport steering wheel means no heat.

Outside of that, it's nice. Everyone thinks it looks basically brand new. It seems to have been kept in great condition. I do need to go over the whole car with at least a polish though. There's plenty of spiderweb type scratches in the car but they're not that bad. Just needs a good grooming.

Oh and there is an issue with the convertible top pulling up the rear trim on the left side because there's this piece of trim that moves out of the way for the convertible top but doesn't on one side. It works fine on the other but on this one, it doesn't pull back when it should. So it ends up getting in the way and the trim gets pulled up from it. I'll see how to fix it. No good pictures at the moment. It's been raining hard.

Traction control is alright too. Not the most invasive.

Struggling to get 14mpg. The struggle is real. I will be hitting up gas stations far too often.

Can't wait for a TridenT traffic court thread where he denies responsibility for his $500 speeding ticket in the face of 5 independent lidar measurements

That sure is fast for such a car.

Got to 120 yesterday as I pulled up behind an NSX. (I'm not much of a top speed guy on public roads) Me and some folks went out to skyline and some other roads. It was fun. Car did alright. But it would do better with a few tweaks. I'm going to be putting on different brake pads and stainless lines.

Mister 'not-much-of-a-top-speed-guy-on-public-roads' hitting a buck-twenty on the interstate, what the f*ck is wrong with you? Get your goddamn head out of your goddamn ass and at least be honest with yourself and everyone else that what you're doing is reckless and irresponsible.

ITT, bunch of old fogies.

Trident, I know that we are the same age, I am possibly younger than you. You should take your "fast driving" to the track to find out how bad at driving you are. It might even cause you to stop speeding excessively on public roads, and it will definitely cause you to realize that your car doesn't need upgrades but the driver certainly does.

Chase that NSX down and show them who is BOSS.
