riddle me this...if one of the ideas is smaller form factors, how will the CPU and GPU be further apart? airflow will be iimproved, but they will ultimatly be closer together. and no, i don't think Intel is intentionally trying to inhibit AMD, its just a convenient side effect. i don't think it will be a hard problem for AMD to solve, but it will cost something.

Yeah, it sure is a nice case, maybe better than BTX. All I was saying was a lot of the reasons for the anti-BTX arguments I see on various fora seem pretty silly, but it's not a bad step.

It would also be interesting to see what case manufacturers do to BTX. I've seen some wild ATX stuff, I wonder if there will be anything different for BTX.

Because they are no longer located next to each other on the motherboard. In ATX they are in the worst possible place they could be.

BTX has been in the works long before the A64 came out.
