Bingo, my thought exactly.

As far as the price, people spend money on cars, houses, vacations, a lot of very expensive stuff, so if the op can afford it, I say more power to him.
exactly. I like opening expensive things from their nice packaging all prebuilt and done out of the box

Alienware for suckers. Cost twice what you could build for half that's the point of this forum. How can you be an overclocker if you can build a computer? Toms hardware needs you!

Look at the pics i posted! I feel your envy from here!

Remember: only Alienware are real GAMING PC.

Something build FOR GAMING!

Could spend my gaming time just making photos of my Aliens with my iphone, don t need to turn em on!

Now you can come back to your sad cheap self-build pc !

I made this thread to hunt grudgings:

man, it s an easy-win if u compare your origin pc to a cheap self-build pc.

it s when u compare it with a expensive real Gaming PC, that u lose miserably.

i won t say that self build pcs aren t a good choice (i have many of em ).

So, how much more money would be needed before a small Blade Server becomes viable? Though in hindsight, modern video cards are very much like self-contained, miniaturized supercomputers.

Nice budget build. I would have spent a little more on the video cards & gotten a bigger SSD. Also an OS that isn't 6 years old.
