Well now they're saying that they think it's too much money to spend on me for Xmas and they are going to get me "something more reasonable". Well we went out car shopping on Saturday and "reasonable" to them is a 2002 civic or protege or something equally lame. God, what a rip off! I'm going to be the laughing stock of the school. I can't believe they want me to drive around in one of these things. How embarassing.

:| My parents are soooooooo cheap

Earn your own money buster.... and stop whining. You have no clue how hard it is to earn money...

When you are going to pay for your kids... you will know what your parents are going through right now.

Have you seen the gas prices? Do you think your parents would be able to afford a gas guzzler? I think your parents have a good strong head over their shoulders unlike you.

Grow up. If you want something badly, you have to get it yourself. Dont expect your parents to get it for you.

Oh and by the way, I am sure you are making your parents proud by calling them "CHEAP". I am sure they looked after you well, so that one day you can call them "CHEAP".

Max.

Edit : Ohh and I would slap you hard (twice) if you were in front of me right now.
IT IS A PARODY THREAD.

Joke or not, it happens all the time.

But now I just laugh because my 700 HP '03 Cobra would stomp all over these POS bmw, eclipses, mustangs, etc. and the best part is I bought it myself. Mwahahah

Oh and I also have my own $300,000 house to park it in. I love it when you have all these jocks that are packed in a dorm 10:1 so they can blow their money on riced out cars with chrome rims and beer. Mwahahah.

Revenge is best served with melted rubber.

I used to know a girl with an extra chromosome 21 who would perform Power Ranger moves at you if you spoke to her unexpectedly or startled her in some other way. Keep in mind this was in high school.

Long live the king.

what amazes me is people are still flaming him even after he posted it is a joke!

take desk for example! he even Quotes where Mwildwing states its a joke! yet flames him for it!

How fricken dumb! READ the thread BEFORE you flame! amazing just amazing.

Speaking of reading, try it yourself sometime Waggy. You can start with Desk's post. Yeah, the whole thing this time. owned.

Look, getting a civic ain't that bad. My folks didn't even buy me a car when I got my liscense and I am better off for it. Many of the people I know whose parents bought them a new car/truck/Hummer H2 have turned into completely arrogant jerkwads. Since I am close, I can walk to school instead of burning my folks money in gas. Actually, I do drive, but only occasionally due to the high price of gas these days. When I do drive, I drive a 1990 Oldsmobile Delta '88; note, I love that car. Granted, they are paying gas and insurance, but that will change when I get a job and have to pay insurance at least, if not part/all of my gas. Besides, they occasionally let me drive the Prius, but I try to remember that none of the cars I drive are 'Mine' to wreck or destroy, but rather to take care of and drive safely.

Also, another thing. Getting a civic will not make you a laughing stock. It may among those who get new cars, but you don't need them. Find real friends who don't give a hang about how affluent you and your parents are. No one at school cares or jokes on me because I drive a Delta'88. Everyone knows that I walk most of the time and drive to school occasionally. IMO, it is a good thing that your folks are looking at getting you a economy car; I think that they realize that they were spoiling you too much and are trying not to do so as much. They won't always be around to buy you new cars. Frankly, I would be glad that they are getting you one at all. I will have to eventually buy the Olds from my folks or buy an economy car with my own money.

BTW, I know this is or may be a joke, but I am putting in my 2 cents on new drivers getting fancy cars from their parents.

You stupid ass spoiled bitch.

OMG, my life is gonna end. QFT. It's just a car. You just expect a 30grand car for Xmas. The most I've ever gotten for Xmas or my Bday was 260 bucks. And you live with tragedy. You're lucky, you're getting a new car.

Plus, mustangs waste gas.

UPDATE #2 - this is a joke thread.

Any posts after this bashing me are from people with a lead paint chip habit, a mother who drank through her pregnancy and an extra 21st chromosome. (fingers crossed...)
Nice trying to cover it up. QFT.

How'd you know the MOST you gotten for XMAS or BDAY was $260, sort of odd number for those that didn't compute it.

How much of your 'rig' you cover then?

Kids who get free fast cars before they have any true driving experience. I feel sorry for the firefighter that has to pull your mangled body out of the car wreckage.

It's been proven regular vs sports car does nothing to increase teh risk to the 'young' driver. Many times the upgraded car ends up saving them.

Jealousy is rampant though....

So, someone's been watching too much "My Sweet Sixteen" again, huh?

Man, that show is just a list of kids who you hope die in horrible auto accidents.
