I really do wonder what recreational pharmaceutical 'ol Pillow Puss was partaking in when the idea popped in his head that hitching his wagon to Trump's clunker clown car was an act of brilliant genius that would catapult himself, the walking talking wanna be joke of the aristocrat class into the conservative big boy political club and rake in the green beyond his wildest dreams. So sad, too bad Mikey.

"It was a massive, massive cancellation," Lindell said in a phone interview Monday. "We lost $100 million from attacks by the box stores, the shopping networks, the shopping channels, all of them did cancel culture on us."
Or.... its just possible that no one wants to buy your crappy pillows.
Like I've said in other posts, GoodWill stores have tons of boxed-unopened MyPillows stacked to the ceiling. What does one do with junk they don't want? Give to to GoodWill. Boxes and boxes stacked up to the ceiling.

From what trusted friends tell me they are pretty good pillows. I think he is a prime example of someone Elmo Musk should study-a crazy ass CEO whose right wing public behavior is so toxic he managed to single handed destroy a thriving business by alienating his customers and future potential customers. What Lindell calls cancel culture is elemental capitalism-people can shop for what they want based on their own personal choice.

I saw Lindell's pillows in Ocean State Job Lot (a low price reseller of "surplus inventory") several years back. It was pretty obvious to me then the trajectory his business was on. I feel sorry for the loyal employees lives his irresponsible behavior has (and will) damage.

Ocean State Job Lot…I remember seeing those when I lived on the Cape. Their stores make Goodwill look upscale. 🤪

Too bad he can't drown his sorrows with a Bud Light.

Lindell should be lauded as an American success story.

I've made fun of him over it, but substance abuse and addiction is no laughing matter. Everyone has done things they aren't proud of. Some more serious than others.

The thing is, Lindell somehow made his life work, and became a millionaire with a home grown business that created over 1000 jobs. That's something to be proud of.

And yet, he turned all of that upside down and shot a hole in the bottom of the ship with his right wing nut job conspiracy theories. Now the ship is sinking. All of it by his own doings.

Would you consider Joseph Stalin a success story? I mean, he rose from humble beginnings to head the Soviet Union for decades, and he triumphed over Nazi Germany in WWll. As the saying goes, "He somehow made his life work," and only at the cost of tens upon tens of lives!

At least My Pillow guy didn't drown any kitties, not that I know of, to create a multi-million dollar company that employed over 1000 people. It didn't go south for My Pillow guy until he started dabbling in politics.

Stalin...ugghhh...I mean, from some twisted metrics, yes, he can be considered a success. In the same way Putin is a success with the mysterious oligarch deaths and missing political opponents.

You may have seen the pillows my wife and I got at a giveaway. We took one out of its box and within 30 seconds it went back in the box, then both were on their way to the charity bin. It felt like a bag full of foam scraps more than a pillow.

Job Lot has cleaned up a lot and gets a bunch of its products manufactured directly for them, you can tell by the price tags. They're not the great place to get good deals on overages and strange overstock anymore. Similar to how Building 19 changed from being a place with just piles of stuff on the floor. One time they had kiddie pools full of wet clothing that came from a literal fire sale. They didn't want to incur the cost of drying the clothing nor did they want them to mildew, thus the kiddie pools. Then they went and got all cleaned up and put in regular aisles with shelves and actual proper lighting. They went out of business a few years later. Too bad to, you could get a 9x12 hand loomed Persian rug for about $100.

I suspect he suffers from compulsive personality disorders. He was able to turn away from the drugs and his compulsion went to making that business. Then he compulsively latched on to the false narrative, nothing could shake him from it.
The compulsion doesn't go away. It seems like all you can do is redirect it.

Trump, and about half the Republican party sure admire Putin.

Various items, ranging from a van with a “cracked windshield” to a stained ottoman, were on sale.

Do we know who stained the ottoman? If it’s a Trump stain, I bet it’s worth more. Everyone approaches Trump with tears in their eyes. Or just stained with conservative tears?

(<---- very happily retired attorney) I've heard similar rants from both clients and opposing parties many times. It's pretty much a given that a person getting sued thinks the case is frivolous. Likewise it is the rare plaintiff that understands there is even the slightest possibility of weakness in their case.

I see nothing indicating any sort of intoxication, drugs or otherwise. Lindell was stupid to spout off like that on the record in a deposition and I'm sure his attorney was flinching the entire time.
