My plans for Labor Day weekend

Today is the day I've been waiting for all summer. The time has come to take the plunge and get a vasectomy. :Q

My appointment is at 3:00 EDT. I'm beginning to get nervous as the clock ticks down. Got any advice?

I think that I'm supposed to shave but, not sure how much needs to be done. Hope this goes well.

it's not a bad procedure and definitely worth it...

We've practiced both those options and have 2 children to show for it.

I had mine back in the first week of June.

Yes shave yourself.

Make sure to have a couple cold packs at home.

I won't lie, first day is a b!tch.. second is annoying... after that it's home free.

And DO YOUR FOLLOWUP SAMPLES.. so many people skip them.. dumb idea.

The reversibility % i've heard/read isn't very high. That's why they won't do it for a young man without medical reasons. I believe you gotta be 25 or higher? I remember coming across those facts during my research because I too was intrigued by the idea. I would save sperm for later but besides the fact of taking away the natural function of conception...I hear it's expensive.

In my case if I had not shaved the doc would have been the one doing it.

Well, the deed is done. I had no pain immediately after it was finished but, some discomfort is setting in now. The area where the doctor was working is pain free. I'm feeling some pain up near the bladder area. I'm going to go lay down for a while with a nice cold pack...
