I think 850W will be a little overkill, but if you feel more comfortable with the overhead it's ok. I always feel like cases are mostly personal preference unless cooling is a primary concern. I like Lian-Li aluminum cases because they look nice to me and are very easy to work with. The first case you list places the PSU at the bottom I believe, so be aware of that.

As for the motherboard, unless there's a specific feature on the more expensive models or your interested in squeezing every bit of performance out of your setup there's really no reason to spend over $150 or so. The Gigabyte P35-DS3R mobo is a pretty popular choice, and comes in around $130 on newegg. eVGA is an excellent company in my experience and their step-up program is very nice. Also, that particular card has the same $20 rebate and an additional $10 rebate at buy.com if you sign up for google checkout through them. And finally OS. Any particular reason for XP over Vista?

I'd get that memory at newegg and take advantage of the $40 MIR. As far as the video card goes, try Dell. I just got the EVGA 8800 GTS 640 for $331. I don't know if they still got sales going on, but I got a big discount for using paypal. I've heard seagate's are noisiest, then WD, then samsung, your choice.

Also, like the above post says, you don't seem to be running anything in need of 850, try the Corsair 620hx from clubit. I'm building something similar and I went with Abit IP35 Pro for the motherboard, but it's all a matter of preference.

Also, if I were you, I'd buy the Q6600 from clubit as they guarantee G0 stepping. Might not mean anything to you, but it translates to lower temperature and more overclock-ability. Same price too.
