Been lifting for about 2.5 years and have only been supplementing with Protein and Fish Oil.
Found a deal last week for 1 little tub of Jack3d and 3 tubs of Modern BCAA for $50 dollars so I decided to try it out.
My normal routine is to do cardio monday through saturday and I lift on mon-wed-fri.
I started Jack3d on monday and decided only to use it on days that I lift. I sip on the BCAA mix during the workouts.
Needless to say, I was super impressed with what Jack3d brought to the table. I was definitely able to execute my reps in a cleaner fashion on a lot of my last sets. The best analogy I came up with as to how I felt when I took it was If you've ever taken/tried adderall to study, then the lifting equivalent is Jack3d (or any other pre-workout NO concoction).
As for the BCAA's, I definitely noticed a slightly faster recovery than normal, so definitely gonna continue that.
One thing that concerned me was that I need to make sure I work out as early as I can on days that I lift. Kept me up kinda late last night due to having to work out later than normal. I also read up on making sure you cycle it so as to not get your body accustomed to its effects. So, at 3 times a week, I think I'll stop after 1 month and take a 2-3 week break and go at it again. But I'll definitely miss taking it, that's for sure!
Well, that's all I observed so far...
