My return to TA-ECCp

My return to TA-ECCp was due to the actions of a TechIMO Mod, and now this

It was AT members calling our own moderators fags and bastards, not some other forum.

I hope everyone will reconsider leaving, in my opinion you should stay here and make it work. There are a lot of good people here, and even with the occasional rift I think it's a worthwhile place to be.

Sometimes a person will have a bad day, when 2 or more ppl are having a bad day at the same time, unfortunate things can be said and crap happens, but try not to get caught up in it and make it part of your destiny too.

I think mods are great. I love the fact they abuse forum members. I like the fact that members can not make comments when they think the mods make a bad decision.

The childish name calling results when people feel censored. Those who are not adult enough to focus their anger in a more positive way will resort to schoolyard tactics. That's life, we are not all adult here - there's no "adults only" requirement for becoming an Anandtech forum member or a TA member.

Some people respond with reason and still get locked, no problem. Some of us will not run away from a fight.
Others decide to leave and shoot a parting foul shot at the ones they despise. That's apparently all they could think of.
Myself, I protest in a bit more passive way, but it is a protest nonetheless. I know what I am doing hurts someone in the pocketbook. That works for me.

One simple apology by someone who did something in an unprofessional manner early on would have made this all go away (never even happen in fact). It takes an adult to do that though.

The mod told Steve to stop mouthing off that this issue had been posted in the forums issue. Steve didn't even know of such a thing until that "attack"

Also, there are a ton of post to other websites. How many DSLR links did I see during that race? I know I've written sysopt.com a ton of times.

Also, why should I not be allowed to point to a post in forum issues? I even asked for no discussion in the thread, but to please post your opinions over at Forum Issues, but this was locked. I was trying to direct people over there.
