My rocks are dirty

I have a dry creek bed in my back yard that is lined with river rocks about the size of a baseball.
It has water in it when it rains, but completely dries up in summer.
The rocks are pretty dirty now and look bad.

Any ideas on how to wash them?

I am thinking about starting at the high end and pressure washing the whole thing.
That's the most efficient method I can think of.

I would only use pressure washer since they are not small. Now if you do have small ones (like if some have broken apart into pieces), pick them up and use brush to clean them, then run them under water.

Reminds me of my old neighbor. He was retired and one of those crotchety old "stay off my lawn" guys. His driveway had white rocks between the house and the driveway and the fence and the driveway.

We observed him one summer taking buckets of the rocks into the house, then coming back out later dumping the clean ones and refilling the bucket.

It took him most of the summer, but he washed every rock.

I hope I have better hobbies after I retire.

I'm not sure what your local codes allow...but maybe a bit of soap, water from a garden hose, and a bristle broom/shop brush could clean off the dirt.

If they are the size of baseballs, you could probably scrub them quite vigorously!
