Okay so... I have 2 comforters and a sheet and I still shiver at night. I wake up every couple hours because it's too cold to sleep. I've tried to talk it over with my room mates, but they don't care and won't compromise. I really can't stand not being able to sleep - I need help coming up with better arguments.
So here's the deal.
The AC in my dorm DOES NOT SHUT OFF. It's a constant stream of air at all times. For this reason, it always feels 3-4 degrees colder than what the thermostat says.
Anyways, if I curl up into a ball with all my sheets/comforters, my body gets warm enough. The problem is, my face gets extremely cold, I start breathing in cold, dry air, and then I wake up. Over time, the cold, dry air hurts my throat too. I've tried sleeping with my head under the covers, but then I can't really breathe.
My room mates are jerks. They could care less about how I feel, so I need to come up with some concrete arguments to present to them and/or the Residence Administrator. Is there any medical reason for why this is bad? I don't know... I need ideas.
Thanks ATOT.
