My roommate doesnt shower daily

He has lower bunk and he showers like once every 2 -3 days and wears teh same clothes over. I sleep on ABOVE HIM on top bunk and the smell permeates my bed and hits my nose.

I have to keep the windows open 24/7. =(

This is no parody. My roommate is no Indian guy. Believe me, I have Indian friends too and at least they shower. They still ahve a smell, but its not a BO smell, it's the Indian smell that everyone gets used to, but there's a difference between sweat and nasty BO and the smell of your house.

Oh and what's with engineers smelling.. Since you're on, I'llt ell you that everytime I get on that elevator in Cory and get smashed in with 20 other people, I once in a while end up with this guy who doesn't wash his hair and has dandruff and he smells like major sweat and whatever...

I'll shower in the morning if I feel tired or have the time to do so. And damnit I switch shirts everyday and at least I try to put on deodorant

qft, thats why I don't hang around cory, evans, tan, lewis, or any engineering buildings on campus... not only are there NO girls, but the whole place smells of BO.

Really, the school of engineering should have their applicants pass a personal hygine class before being accepted.

Well I'm Taiwanese (born in the US, not FOB) but I still believe in good sanitation..... How the fvck do people run around all sweaty. I still remember that day I went to Disneyland with my friends and we were like "omg so hot in socal... this is disgusting" cuz we were all sweating profusely and like even horseplay was like "eww don't touch me you're all sticky." Iono. I just prefer to be clean.

I shower twice a week, but you see I don't do anything that gets me sweaty, and if I ever do, I will take a shower afterwards.

EDIT: oh yeah, and I shower whenever I will be around other people too.

He thinks that instead of showering, he can use Axe. And when he does shower, he doesn't wear sandals.

He has no common courtesy. He expects me to turn off my monitor when he wants to go to bed at 11:00pm because the small amount of light that emits (my monitor is facing opposite him) bothers him.

Yet, some days he's up until 2am watching anime. When I go to sleep, he doesn't turn down his sound, turn off the light, shut off his computer. Sure, none of those things really bother me that much, but it's kind of like, if you expect it from someone else, you should probably be doing the same.

He'll come into the room while I'm in here, the door is open when he comes in, yet when he leaves, he closes it. I've told him countless times to leave the door open to get some airflow going and he still doesn't do it.

He audibly farts and belches constantly.

what actually is that "indian smell"..? is it due to a diet containing certain spices?
