Just wait until the chick calms down and then try to work it out, maybe if that doesn't work out then you should leave. I see absolutely nothing that could be gained by going to the police or a lawyer except to make the situation 100x worse. People talking like "oh if someone pushes you down thats a crime", wtf BS if that, if she cuts you with a knife THEN you call the police, not if she just pushes you down during a hormonal rage.

I mean I don't know the person, if this is how they act all the time then it would be best to leave (but still not to call the cops), if its an isolated incident your a freaking loser if your gonna let yourself get forced out of the house over it.

Yeah either that or pihb

You don't let a chick like that push you around.

Uh, there's only one girl, two guys. And no I didn't want some ass from her. She's a dirty hippie.

Wow this thread has gone insane.

I'm at my parent's house now. I got checks for half a month's rent and my security deposit. I took everything of mine out of the house, did all my dirty dishes, and left my keys on the table.

As far as she is concerned, I don't ever really want to talk to her again, but I'll need to when the electric for this month comes, and I have the box for her router.

LMAO

You forgot to say, "Thank you, sir, may I have another!"

Just because she's insane doesn't give me the right to leave a mess for her and my other roommate to clean up. And I still have to pay the electric for this month. Moving out doesn't let me skip out on bills.

I'd stick her with it as a last jab for shoving you. Pregnant or not, if a man cannot hit/shove a woman than a woman can't do it to a man. So you were a man for not going back at her, good for you. Now let her know that life is a bitch and leave her with the bill.

Don't worry about "money for the baby". If she's poor enough she can get a ton of free food from WIC.

You're not moving out. You got thrown out. You're not on the lease now since it's month-to-month? Bill for the electricity is in her name? Bills aren't your problem, especially after:

*Snicker* Pay whatever the pro-rata bills are then. Oh wait, since you seem to enjoy letting her bitch slap you around, just pay the full amount. I guesss the term "pro-rata ass fucking" doesn't make too much sense now, does it?

Anyone want to take bets on who will come out worse if I let a random chick punch me, and then i punch her right back in the face? (it's rhetorical, don't answer )

It seems like you don't want to call the cops, but it might be necessary in the end. I would have a talk with her and make sure that she knows the next time she tries to resort to physical violence, police will be called. She acted inappropriately and she might know it, if you talk with her the situation could be resolved. Beyond that, would you really want to get cops involved in such a situation? More hassle then good will come of it, imo.

Mmmm sanity has entered the thread. I think you missed the ATOT part

You're only paying half of your 1/3, right? You were only there for 15.5 days.

yeah, no need to fuck her over that way. fi you were to drag this thing to the courts, and think you'd be in big trouble. fake hippie girls (even real hippie girls) tend to be the spoiled children of very wealthy parents. she prolly has lawyers. and it will prolly cost you a shit load of cash if the cops/courts get involved.

of course, bringing the weed with tangible proof into this could tip things in your favor, but that won't be an easy ride....

Domestic violence / assault case. He doesn't need a lawyer, as the state will prosecute.

I don't really want to call the cops. She's still selling pot, and I don't want her to get in trouble for that. Less for her sake than the baby's.

What if you were selling dope and beating women, you would be in jail as well.

While it might be the right thing to call the police I'd say the smart thing to do is exactly what the OP is doing, getting out while the gettings good!

If the police get involved theres no telling what the result might be, up to & including him being arrested for domestic violence when she lies about what happened & possibly even being implicated in her drug dealing.

My advice is leave & don't look back.

Uhh, the OP is the one with cuts and bruises. Unless she goes and stabs herself now there's a pretty good chance the OP will be safe.

I read the thread & I stand by my advice ... all she has to do is claim self-defense & theres a very good chance the police will take her side, fair or not.

Life if full of things worth fighting for & IMO this simply isn't one ot them.

The police aren't supposed to 'take sides'. If she claims self-defense and claims that he hit her first, why does she have no visible injury, and why didn't she report it first? That's one reason I strongly recommend that he report it - if something else happens down the road, he'd be much better off having this documented.

Eh I think that you should still pay half. It keeps all of the arguments out and when gives her no room
to whine about these things

Man, EVERYTHING is a crime in some way or another, half the time I cross a street its jaywalking, so theres ~5 crimes I commit a day right there. I also walk on other peoples property alot, thats trespassing, a crime. I speed in my car often, again crime. I also "borrow" items like pens and stuff sometimes, thats stealing, a crime. I mean all and all I probably brake the law in some way or another 10 times a day. IMO your a pussy if you think getting a cut is a big enough crime to call the police. If I were injured by a chick like that my first move would be to make sure nobody knew about it since thats just embarrassing, calling the police is the ultimate example of the pussification of america. I mean for example when I was ~6 i probably made 10 people bleed by scratching them (pretty womanly way to do that), so maybe i shoulda gotten 10 counts of assault and spent my childhood in Juvie. Or how about the 50 times I drank underage, d@mn thats gotta be good for a life sentance, let alone smoking pot that one time, or using prescription drugs I didn't have a prescription for.

Basically all I'm saying is in my life I have probably broken the law on the order of thousands to tens of thousands of times, and so have you (I mean, how many of those songs on your comp you actually paid for?). IF the police got called out every time someone was the victim of some tiny crime then they would never be able to deal with the real crimes. These sorts of things are to be dealt with privately as best as possible. If you cant reason it out then gets some friends to arbitrate. If it REALLY blows out of hand then go to small claims court and sue her for braking your stuff or whatever. Personally the only way I can see this going that far is if either this chick or the OP have some serious mental health problems. If not they should be able to reason it out like adults and jsut put this silly little incident behind them.

yeah, don't get her in trouble man, the last thing she needs right now is to be in jail......... listen, I know alot of these people are telling you to call the cops, and normally in this situation that'd be warranted, but pregnancy/hormones really does f*%k people up mentally, especially when they need to give up all their vices........ A close friend of mine when pregnant a couple of years ago, was sitting next to me on the couch and she kind of had herself wrapped around me, two seconds later we're on the floor, she's on top of me and trying to tear my face off or something, absolutely no provocation at all, she just got pissed at something random and attacked me........................ By the end I was all scratched up and bleeding, and I actually had to grab her boob to get her to stop (tender lactating boobies FTW, kind of like kicking a guy in the nuts).................... but it ended there, I wasn't going to make things worse by calling the popo......... and now that she's no longer pregnant, she's just as cool as ever....................... if your roomie flies into these rages often though, she should be checked for gestational diabetes, blood sugar swings can also cause uncontrolled rage............. that's what my friend ended up having............
