but yea, as others have stated, violence is not necessary, and preggers or not, justice needs to be served. nobody needs to batter their roommate like she did to you.
it may be hard to want to have police get involved, especially if before this you were really cool and friends with her. but I have a feeling this friendship is over, so who cares if she gets more emotional and all sad and pissed?
Also gives you an opportunity to find a bigger closet to call home.

Thats not a good excuse. Call the damn cops and if she gets nailed with more charges, its not your problem. Grow a pair and stop getting run over, take a stand, and do what it takes to get this situation corrected.

I just called my parents, and I'll be moving my stuff back to their house, which means I'll pretty much be alone. My mom is off at college, and my step-dad is never home. I guess they do still have internet though. I'm going to go take a shower, now that she's gone I don't have to worry about her doing something stupid like kicking my door in (again) and breaking something.

Was gonna stay out of this, but I hope this doesn't become one of those crackwhore mom stories where the mother "prostitutes" the kid for a hit or takes them along for the deals. Oh wait... she's already exposing her "kid" to druggies. Like Steve said, cops now, better for the baby.

There is definitely more to the story, but the excuses given were lame (eg, not enough information) and with the given info, he needs to call the cops.
