I'm watercooling with a DD TDK block and chilled water that stays around 50-60F at all times.

Update:
Here is AM3 and 3Dmark01 results. I was unable to send in my AM3 results at this time so I don't have a compare url. My 7800GT is also untweaked, I just came from using ATI for awhile so I need to read up on Nvidia tweaking...

All I have is the heatsinks that cam with the 148 and the FX-55 I have. The FX-55 HS is a rather good heatpipe but I'm to lazy to mess with it right now. I will guess that I could do 3Ghz easily.

As soon as monarch has 939 OEM 146's for around $173 like the 940's, I am definitely getting one. I need something for my uber corsair 4400 TCCD ram to play with.

You might not want to wait. The rumors I'v read is that first batchs of the s939 opteron's are really using FX-55 cores and already two other steppings have come out that don't do as well as the CABNE stepping. I think after awhile these chips wont do as good as they are now, otherwise there is no reason to buy an FX-57...

I know ive heard that. I want to find the good fx-55 stepping ones. We need to start a thread so people can say where they found good steppings at. If anyone buys a 146 939 at monarch, let me know what stepping you get!

Updated my first post with 3dmark01 and aquamark. I'll see about benchmarking HL2 or Far Cry later.

Usual warning:

Since the 939 Opterons came out there have been three revisions already. The first one, which is shown here, is CABNE and was the best. The second, CABGE was substancially worse. The newest, CABYE is in between.

Do not order an Opteron right now expecting it to perform like this one.
