I think we need pics of your sister to answer that question with any degree of accuracy...

Tell her to lay off the burritos while driving.

Somebody HAS to insure her, but it won't be All-State. If your state has mandatory minimum insurance coverage there's a high-risk pool. Some company will be forced to carry all high-risk drivers, but it's going to be at obscenely high premiums. You either pay the premium or you don't drive.

Totaled as in beyond repair, or as in did more damage than the car is worth? I got rearended in my Ranger years ago, and all it did was dent the tailgate and ripple one of the rear quarter panels. But the truck was 10 years old, so insurance estimated the cost of fixing the damage to be more money than the truck was worth. So they totaled it.

She seriously needs to go to driving school. If you value her life, you should get her to go to defensive driving school or something along those lines.

Being a hot chick can help you with a lot of things, but being insurable isn't one of them.

Odds are that she's going to be put in a high risk group, and she'll need to pay out the nose for even minimum coverage.

Common sense FTW. Tell her to focus on driving. That means turning off your cell phones, not eating, not playing with the radio/nav, etc if she can't handle it.

It's a question of at what cost will they insure her
I would recommend a cheap used car with liability only.

What's the problem? Sounds like a fantastic record, for a woman.

Tell her to move into a big city and use the insurance & car payment money to pay for a gym membership, bus/subway fare, and a new healthier supply of food.

Yeah, they will keep her. No DUI or drugs? They won't kick her off yet. Possibly put her on high risk. Does she have traffic tickets? Age?

Perhaps the car is lopsided, thereby affecting stability and handling. Try putting a 250lb weight on the passenger side, just make sure it's not a giant burrito.

Are you sure it's your "sister"

I mean, a 250 pounds driver would make any car more stable.

On a serious note, my car insurance cut me off after my son totaled our Cavalier and rolled the Tracker.
