I got a 1290 on the SAT in 7th grade, and a 1570 when it counted. Standardized tests are ridiculously easy. I just which I had done as well on my other tests (93.1 Avg HS, 3.78 GPA College).

regardless of how your son does...just don't let him get sucked into the bad part of highschool. IF you study and have fun its all nice and dandy, but personally I saw highschool as harder to deal with socially than I'm seeing college now! I've seen my idiot friends in 6-th grade do it right and excel in highschool and go to good colleges...and I've seen the "smarties" just completely turn their life around~ I've also seen people I figured would continue their little path

So to me, congrats or whatever on a standardized test (IMO the fact you can prep for a test and score 4-500 points higher easily shows they are not effective but hey we use them) but don't let him get messed up
