My Sound Setup...Opinions?

Here is my sound set up..
I am comtemplating ordering the new FPS2200's for my new system...just wondering on their quality.

The PC Works FPS2200's will be hooked up to the Samsung NewQ Gold, hooked up to a SBLive 5.1 DE...

Anyone got any opinions/advice on this?

Or is the SBLIVE by itself adequate? should i save the money from the newQ equaliser and getmyself a digi camera?

I think the SB Live is good enough on it's own. I wouldn't recommend getting those PC Works speaks. I hear most of em are pretty bad. I would recommend either the Klipsch Promedias or the BA7500's. Both have great quality but the BA7500s have Dolby Digital so you may want to look into those.

I would pass on the Samsung NewQ Gold equalizer. I'm not really a fan of equalizers, but if you have a need for it, there are always software ones that don't cost that much. I would also agree with Fenix on getting better speakers. In addition to what he recommended, the Midilands and Videlogic series are some of the "better" computer speakers.

Thanks for that. I don't have much experience with PC Works or Cambridges...I currently own Altec Lansing ACS54.

I'll probably go and try to find a retailer in Australia that can get Boston Acoustics...i have heard these and they are VERY nice...
i'll use my altec lansings to hold me over.

newQ equaliser: i should ditch that huh? wouldnt be much use to me since im going to pair my this nice sound card and nice speakers...i guess thats the way to go. thanks!
