My Vacation in Vietnam ***PICS***

We went to Vietnam for the lunar new year and it is a blast. The last time I was there was 10 years ago and so many things have changed. My whole family went back together (mom/dad/uncle/girlfriend) to visit my grandmother & aunt/uncles. Big family reunion :awe:

My uncle's 4 cylinder BMW Vietnam have a 100% sales tax on all cars just FYI. A toyota corolla would cost you $38k.

And old friend of my sister, he is now selling shoes hehe.

My uncle's 89 Camry, this thing have 400,000 miles on it and it's still running perfect.

she's in a well off area of town. Most are countryside & poor farmers.

A person's monthly salary is about $200.

It's not the mark up of the cars. The cars themselves sell for the same price here in the United States but in Vietnam they charge you...

80% Import tax
50% of whats left over on "Luxury" tax
10% of what's left over on "Gov't tax"
15% of what's left over on something else I forgot.

It come out to be close to 100%. That 4 cylinder BMW cost him $67k after all the fees.

We climb up this freaking mountain at noon in 90 degrees weather.

As you can see she is burning :lol:

This monkey loves me. After feeding him some food, he would come over to me and let me pet him and rub his face on me. If anyone come close he would act really aggressive (hissing & punching shit around) lol

These are the rubber tree. They extract the sap & get rubbers out of it.

It's amazingly cheap over there. My girl got 5 pants & 5 shirts custom tailored there for $50.

Can you find it? This is at the Cu Chi Tunnel system (200km long tunnels used by the guerillas during the Vietnam war)

How balling is this guy to have a house like this? on low tides, you can actually walk to his house.

The last time I was in Vietnam/Thailand it cost me 12K CAD.

i did thailand, singapore, and malaysia for 3 weeks for about $4000 US for 2 people.
