Well my wife and daughters. AC broke so I went and got one at lunch and dropped it off and went back to work. It was well over 100 in my building today so when I got home I was drenched with sweat and dreading installing the new unit.

I walked in and they are all standing around trying to get it plugged in. They installed it before I got home! Im sitting here freezing and very happy.

The handle on our front loading washer broke. Rather than pay a repair man to come out my wife found a video on YouTube on how to fix it. She ordered the part from a local supplier and told me to pick it up on the way home from work. Five minutes to watch the video and five minutes to install and we were back in business.

Coincidentally just ran through the same thing, and I also happen to be taking time off while mom goes back to work. She exhausted her shitty maternity leave as well as completely exhausting all of her FMLA leave just to be in the NICU with her every day. After ~85 days she finally graduated a couple weeks ago.

Now daddy is taking over at home, and I'm milking my paid paternity leave dry for the next 3+ months hehe. Kinda sad and pathetic that my leave is a million times better than my wife's.

She was born at week 26 weighing in at about 1lb 12oz. Here she is 1-week old - at the time she literally fit in my hand

What was the cause of the early birth? for my wife, it was IUGR, and the her placenta simply couldn't keep up causing growth restriction. She was in until week 30 iirc, which is why while she wasn't quite as early as yours, she was still lighter at only 1 pound 9oz. She actually dropped down to 1 pound 4oz for the first 48 hours which was really scary. At week 26, my wife says she likely wasn't even a pound yet.
