Hi,
I've had my X1900XT for a while. I don't game too much but lately I've been thinking about it's overclocking potential and just clock/memory speeds in genera
I have the latest Omega Drivers installed (over ATI ones. FAQ said this is fine as long as I removed the ATI Control Center, which I did). The problem is it seems my clocks are always 500/600 and anytime I raise it even 10%, it crashes the card (no video), Windows freezes, or it reboots the system.
I can play 3D games just fine but even then, I suspect the card never goes to the supposed 3D speeds of 625/725.
When I try to run ATI Tool and click on Find Max Core, it immediately crashes.
I can use ATI Tray Tools' Find Max Core and that works for a little bit before it crashes. I can get memory up to something like 635, then crash.
What's going on here?
