I hate you. Not literally but you got an amazing deal on that ride. I'm sure you already know that but I recently got a 08 WRX with a lot more miles than yours that ran me $17k.

Digging the tint. I'm getting mine done tomorrow but unfortunately I can't do my front windows. CHP says no no lol.

Thanks Fuzzy.

Eibach Pro Kit on the way. Hopefully I can get sometime in the next few weeks to put them on.

Car now has 21k on it. Still a blast to drive that only gets better with age. Car has mega grip and has induction noises that rival much nicer cars. Eibach Pro kit made it on and did the trick. Sits nice and grips tight. BFG KDW's were right after followed up by an Injen intake. Still thinking over side skirts but I feel like they will be next.

Is that antenna really stock on a Z car?

No, the stock one is about 3 feet tall. That one is for a Dodge Avenger. Still looking to go shorter and sexier though.

I honestly have no idea what they were thinking when they put it right there through the sheet metal like that. Even the rear window wiper was done like that on the hatch.

That was more what I was meaning, just the location of the antenna. Didn't know that they would do that to such a nice looking car. Nice car anyways.

lol, sure. Now do I go full on Ghetto and stick that on the stock spot to cover the hole left behind by the old mast or do I "shave" it and relocate the fin to the roof. I could always just leave the stock one in place and mount a few of those on the roof pretending to have a school of fish on my car.

Get two, so you can have one over the hole and another on the opposite side. Wouldn't want the fin to make your car unbalanced.

Stock location; and paint it orange.

Or you could really have fun and glue a coffee mug to it.

I'm torn. I like them but I'm not sure I want to put holes in the bumper. They are there for additional support. People opt not to put them on all the time and the splitter is fine at highway speeds. My car has only seen beyond 80 very few times and don't intend on risking my ultra low insurance premiums anythime soon. =P

With that out of the way, I really do think the turn buckles look sexy in an almost sinister way. They sort of look like fangs when done right. which would be the look I go for too. On Stillens website they show them mounted on the face of the bumper which IMO looks terrible. The link that I provided shows where owners have mounted them on the contour of the grille, which is what I would do.

Apparently mine is being made to order. I just got an email from someone at Stillen:

"Damion,

Your order is scheduled to ship between May 8-10th. This item is currently not in stock but it only takes 2-3 business days to make urethane parts.

FedEx will email you when your order ships.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please feel free to contact me"

pretty cool I guess.

I was shot at by the camp that respawned when I thought I left some bandages behind and my car broke down... Luckily I'm an ace mechanic and knew how to fix it

That center engine cover bolt is tricky business. A few well calculated turns on it will fix even the most damaged engine.
