mynewslink.com browser hijack

everytime i got to a website that really doesnt exist (like http://www.asdfoiuasdjcaksdridk.com) I get a page that says "Welcome to mynewslink.com". I know my computer is hijacked somehow, but I cant figure out how to fix it! I got this computer from work, and I think the problem is in the image that they put on it.

I have searched google and found nothing that can help. Only others with the same problem. I also tried hijackthis, but that doesn help. Anybody have any ideas on how I can solve this?

- Download/Run Spybot search and destory
- Download/Run Adaware
- check your processes (CTRL, Alt, Del) for suspicious running programs.

If Windows defender didnt find it, do you think adaware would?

Also try Hijackthis. Remove registry keys and BHO's )after writing down their names) with it, then manually find any other registry files/system files related and delete them.

Common places in regedit.exe:
HKLM/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run
HKCU/software/microsoft/windows/currentversion/run

Adaware finds a lot more things than windows defender, I always install Adaware on my new machines.
It has gotten rid of a lot of bad stuff that Nortan and Windows Defender couldn't.
I bet Adaware will get rid of your problem.
