The remix of Provider has one of the catchiest bass lines I've ever heard. I really like that song.

As for rap'ish bands that suck live - Hed PE is horrible live, but I love their studio albums.

No, It's coming out tommorow. Every album is ready before the release date and almost every album is leaked before the release date.

Not really, I'm talking more about their work with Clipse, Birdman aka Baby, Jermaine Dupri, I-20, Noreaga, Snoop, etc.

NERD was pretty good when I saw that show...we were the last stop on the tour (sprite remix) though, so maybe they tried harder. The Roots stole the show that night though...by far the best live performance I've ever seen. Everyone played a long, unbelieveable solo, and they didn't stop playing once in the entire set. nuts.

yep. if you've never seen the roots before, they put on an amazing set. they do their songs, then they do a cover-medley, then they do each band members solo. the drums were neat, how they switched between kits and still kept the beat and rhythm. i agree, roots stole it down here also. i dont blame people for not really being pumped for n.e.r.d., because they had a tough act to follow.

I wasn't too impressed with what I saw from them on SNL, but I may try to give the album a listen if that wasn't typical of them.
