Yeah, JerBoy, every single OS that I currently run and/or have run in the past has been 100% legit. As for the MS authenticity cert., I don't have them for every OS I have, but then again, I have the original CD-Rom's from MS. To be more precise, MS gave me every OS I've used after Win 95

If you got 5+ copies of Windows lying around, you're not really going to find out which copy was installed on which PC with which license

Most of my systems run Linux now, so I don't think I've got anything to worry about, though.

you wouldn't guess it from all the anti-anti-piracy stuff i say, but yes.

i have two copies of xp on my computer, one of which is legal, but i never boot into the illegal one, so i figure it doesn't really count.

i have a copy of mandrake on my computer, which as you can expect, is legal.

it really is surprising how much software ms gives away for FREE...

I don't know any microsoft, so I can't answer your question.

Yup, every single one of them is legit. Most are provided by Microsoft for free (Not for Resale), and if not, then my college has a sweet deal where you can get an OS for $5 a CD.
