Okay, post op. The initial application was easy. There was a slight burning sensation and a slight acrid scent while the cream sat for 10 minutes. Nothing too uncomfortable, I imagine actual waxing would be much more painful.

Wiping off the NAIR was a little more complicated and produced a much more powerful burning sensation. This could have been caused by the cheap washcloth I used, it wasn't anything fancy or smooth, just Walmart brand. I'd say the NAIR removed around 90% of the hair where I applied it. At present, its difficult to tell because of the redness. The test site from yesterday experienced the same redness though it went away after a little more than a day. I can definitely still see a few errant hairs right now, and I imagine more will grow out in the next few days.

Probably some time next week, I'll have to go for another treatment. If everything goes smoothly, I'll have to find someone to NAIR my back, that's impossible to shave effectively.

I tried some of that last week and it burned the hell out of me. The skin at the base of each hair strand literally came off, bled, and scabbed over. It was VERY painful the night I did it. There are still scabs visible on my nipples...ON MY NIPPLES. No joke. On the plus side, I was more hairless than I've been since birth discounting the hair on my head. I'm not sure if I'm going to try it again or not...

Yeah, the product specifically says to NOT put it on your nipples. If you do accidentally get some on there wipe it off all quick like -- I had blisters on my nipples for a week =( Now it's all hair all the time, not worth the hassle.

But I have (had) hair around my nipples! It's highly inconvenient to not be able to use this miracle product there. I read the instructions, saw the warning you speak of, and decided to take the risk anyway. I'm not blaming NAIR for my stupidity.
