I've seen both these bands live, however it's been a long time and I'd like to catch them again since they're both touring currently

*Iron Maiden (I "think" White River is their closest show to Portland unfortunately...but I'm going, Oh yea, I'm going )


*Queensryche (I'd prefer w/Chris DeGarmo rather than Mike Stone but they're getting excellent reviews and I like Geoff Tate quite a bit. Scott Rockenfield is a hell of a drummer and Eddie Jackson's Bass line in "Jet City Woman" (which I see is on the set list) gives me goosebumps just thinking about the first time I saw them perform that song live.....

Regarding #1, a person I work with has seen alot of different bands and there is no doubt in his mind that my #1 pick is the best show he has ever seen.

What sucks is that I live in CT and my #2 and #3 were both in NYC 1-2 months ago and I could not find anyone to go see them. I do vow to see Antibalas though.

I've seen RH(a few times) and DT, both good shows. Not life changing, but good.

I saw Daft Punk years ago, they were great! One of only about a dozen or so electronic music shows I've been to, but one of the best.

I went to a tonne of shows when I was younger, so I saw almost all the bands I wanted to see (and a bunch I did not want to see at all). So of bands that are still around, and being limited to only 3, I think I'd like to see:

Looks like a few of you would hate me for this, but I wasn't and still really aren't a fan of Iron Maiden, but I saw them on their tour like, what, 2 years ago? Sometime in the fall. I wound up 3rd from front. Bullet for My Valentine opened, which was absolutely horrible (and EVERYONE turned around and flipped them off for their opening set...almost felt sorry for them).

It was good, but one of you real fans should've had my ticket. At least I didn't pay for it...

Daft Punk, Muse, DJ Shadow

H.A.A.R.P. makes me want to see Muse live so badly, and Alive 2007 makes me want to see DP. DJ Shadow is just up there because he's awesome.

1. Aerosmith (yeah, believe it or not, I've never lived anywhere that they've played!!)
2. ZZ Top (been here twice, but I refuse to pay the exhorbitant price they were charging at the local coliseum)
3. Joan Jett (yeah, I know......but rock 'n roll chicks are hot.....even older ones!! :laugh: )

Honorable Mention: Bon Jovi, back when DLR was lead singer. Believe it or not, I had a chance to see them, back in 1981, when I was stationed in Florida. Even had the ticket (they were opening for the Rolling Stones, if you can believe that!), was all jazzed for the concert.... and they changed the watchbill at the last second, gave me duty, and I couldn't find anyone to take it for me (I even offered cash, but got no pity......bastards!!). Man, was that a heart breaker!!
