Love Taylor's Ham. You can get in and around the Baltimore area, but I'm not sure if they stock it here in Northern VA.

I know whats in it and don't care, I learned to love it long before I was old enough to care about the ingredients.

In Arlington, you can definitely get it. I was pleasantly surprised, having moved here from south jersey.

The Manhattan Bagel in Ballston, near my client site, uses it instead of ham. I was shocked when I asked for a ham and egg croissant and got porkroll instead. It was awesome.

Harris Teeter sometimes stocks it, but Giant is a better bet.

The Safeway near my house in Arlington VA stocks a few varieties, but I love going to Wawa and having an entire aisle to pick from. I definitely stop for one when I go up to visit my folks.

The Philly area has one thing I've not managed to find anywhere else, though. Good bread. If someone can point me to anything close to rolls and Italian loaves from Cacia's, Liscio's, or similar in Northern VA, please tell me. As it is now, I buy a few dozen when I visit and freeze them.

It's not that it's only sold in one place, but birch beer can be tough to find.

Yeah, Tastykake is limited to the PA area. I went to college in Indiana and missed Tastykake.

Vernor's

I load up on Vernor's whenever I'm in the midwest. Though last time I made the mistake of buying it in Michigan instead of getting it on my way back in Ohio. Stupid $.10 deposit. One of these days I need to load up a mail truck and run those cans back out to Michigan.

My friend down in DC says Giant supermarkets sell it, but their Giant chain is not the same as our Giant chain in NJ.

It's not exactly a grocery item, but if I ever get back to SoCal I'm headed straight for scenic downtown San Fernando and Carrillo's Mexican deli. I need me a few dozen handmade flower tortillas and several pounds of homemade beef jerky. Their fresh chopped salsa is good too, but I've learned to make that myself.

I do get them shipped out here sometimes, and they're really good, but they're better fresh.

I love these chips as well, its disappointing that I cant find them anywhere in Columbus. I was spoiled growing up in Tiffin where these were made. Whenever we travel to see family that's out of town we bring a couple of boxes of these with us!

First thing I thought of when I saw the thread title. I'm only down in Cincinnati, and I can't find them anywhere. No chip goes better with french onion dip.
