i'm almost through ninja gaiden, that game is tough but very fun since every fight is different and you can use your surroundings.

edit: now Ninja Gaiden for the NES was tough to beat. Had to use cheats to beat that.

Games today are made to be beaten, it seems. They have easy modes. Today's games also have more complex stories, and it's more about playing through the story than actually playing a game.

Argh, I remember that...with 2x the bad guys, and those weird glowing stumps (?) everywhere being the only differences. Oh, and that one new weapon they gave you.

He was pretty easy to beat up, but the hard part was knocking him down the 3 times it took to get the TKO. It's been years, but from what I remember you had to watch for the wink.

Yup all the fighters had tell-tale signs when they were going to do something specific.
