I'm certainly not a Nancy Pelosi fan, but damn OP, if that's all the reason you have for hating the woman...you're just a small, petty little boy.

Hate her for her politics...that I get, but because she has a facial expression that MIGHT be mistaken for a slight smile? (it doesn't look even slightly for a smile to me, more like a pained "oh damn...is this ever gonna get over" kind of look.)

I don't find harm in it one bit.

But there have always been issues with the personal appearance of leaders.
FDR made it a case to never appear in public as if he was paralyzed, for fear of looking weak.

How much regular people look at a President's physical or emotional capabilities as signs of weakness, who knows. But it's common for Presidents to go great lengths to hide any display that might be construed as weak.
Obama is somewhat atypical, in that he doesn't really hide much of his personal character attributes, which I actually highly respect. I don't like his politics, but I like and respect his style.
