But if a scapegoat is what’s needed for this Administration to continue to take this great nation forward, I am proud to do my duty.”

There's very much a real division in the country as a natural consequence of legit progress made over many decades. There's the virtuous people who've come to internalize enlightenment values, and then there's the good ol' shitbirds who want a return to the days of reflexively blame minorities for whatever troubles. Of course there's also the shitbird enablers who no matter what the latter do will always proclaim there's no difference between the two, and really the former is the Real problem. Obama, arguably the greatest centrist we'll ever see in our lifetimes, certainly tried to bridge that gap and his legacy with the shitbirds is Trump. And honestly I can't even say liberals don't deserve it given they need to take some responsibility for their own naivete to how the game is played.
